Pets are welcome by negotiation, we are not openly offering a pet friendly house, however, depending on the size and type of pet we can discuss at time of booking. Please note any damage caused by pets will be fully billed to guests.
Lazy Dayz is fully self contained including all linen, bath towels, cutlery, washing machine and dryer, with both indoor and outdoor (Weber BBQ - gas provided) cooking options. Beach towels are NOT provided and bath towels must not be removed from the house. We provide tea, coffee, cooking oil and a small amount of milk to kick start your stay - all other food items must be purchased by guests. A small supply of toilet paper will be provided for your stay, it is recommended for stays longer than 3 days or have 6 + guests to bring your own supply of toilet paper.
There is a small convenience/fuel store located in Wooli - The Wooli General Store- providing most convenience items, however, it is highly recommended to bring all grocery items required for your stay. Coles and Woolworths in Grafton do deliver to the property. It is a good idea to place an order 2-3 days prior to your arrival for your groceries to be delivered in time for your stay. All major grocery stores are located at Grafton, an easy 40 minute drive from Lazy Dayz. Wooli has a bottle shop attached to The Wooli Tavern, along with great pub meals! The butcher is open on Thursdays and Fridays of each week, not public holidays and is located next to The Wooli General Store.
Telstra and Optus have excellent mobile coverage in Wooli - the tower is located not far from Lazy Dayz. Vodaphone has NO coverage in Wooli. Lazy Dayz has NBN Wifi, you will be provided with a log in passwords at check in.
Yes, the Wooli beach adjacent to the break wall is patrolled during Summer months, patrols start October school holidays and cease in April, Winter months the beach is not patrolled full time. Wooli beach near the breakwall is a safe place for the whole family and has beachside amenities galore. The Wooli beach stretches north to Wilson's Head and is 4WD accessible The beach ends abruptly at the break wall that herds the Wooli Wooli river out to sea and this is where a lot of the action happens - 4WD access, Marine Rescue HQ and fishing boats crossing the bar. It is highly recommended to not swim in other part of the beach other than near the breakwall, Wooli beach has many spots known for treacherous and dangerous rips.
Yes, boat parking is available off road on the uncovered Main Street side of Lazy Dayz house. This area is marked by a black and yellow chain which must be moved to park the boat, please note the septic pit is located under this space NO cars, heavy vehicles or trailers to be parked there, this is a designated spot for boats only - maximum length of boat and trailer is 6 metres.
Maximum amount of adults is 6 and 2 children. Bookings must be reflective of the number of people staying, if a last minute change is made and additional people are staying, there will be a charge per person, per night for cleaning and utility usage. Yes a porta cot and highchair are available on request at booking time.
NO! We will not tolerate noisy or disruptive house guests. We have beautiful permanent residents surrounding Lazy Dayz and will not allow them to be subjected to poor behaviour. If it is brought to our attention that guests are partying or displaying undesirable behaviour, you will be requested to leave the house and no refund will be offered. Wooli is a small and welcoming community with a distinct 'old school' beach village vibe designed for relaxation and peace.
Check in from 2pm on the day of arrival and Check out 10am on the day of departure. Depending on the next arrival of guests, check in and check out times can be negotiated at the discretion of the owner. All rubbish to be removed from the house upon departure and placed in the appropriate bins, if your stay is mid week - bins go out for collection on Wednesdays. All doors and windows to be closed and locked upon departure and keys returned to the lock box. **** A Fee of up to $300.00 can be charged for additional cleaning fees if the house is left in a particularly untidy state.
